Nick, Len, Jean and Dawn attended the show on the Saturday. We took along the gazebo and the banner. When we arrived we were directed by Rob to set up.
The entry to this event was free to the public, it is organised to show appreciation of Armed Forces past, present and future and it was very well attended.
Our minis drew lots of attention, lots of people came to chat and take away postcards.
There were many stalls to browse and a beer tent. There were also military vehicles from different eras and classic cars to view and a number of marching bands throughout the day.
A re-enactment was performed in the afternoon followed by a Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire flypast.
Richard Bolwell was treated to starting up the static spitfire by Seb and Rueben as a Father's Day present.
We will be attending both days of this event next year. A most interesting day for people of all ages.
