ANY OTHER INTERESTING FEATURES?
The Webasto sunroof has been recovered by a previous owner in a much nicer material than the original roofs. I’m regularly asked where I brought the cover from; the answer is I don’t know

ANY PROBLEMS YOU’VE HAD WITH YOUR MINI?
Where would I begin? Since purchasing the car in 2014 it’s had a new clutch, front suspension and cylinder head. And that’s just the big jobs; it’s an ever evolving project with big plans every winter

ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO DO TO YOUR MINI IN THE FUTURE?
Stop the oil leaking and attempt to extract some more power out of the economy 50hp 1275 engine. Some key areas of the bodywork look like they might need some attention in the next few years

WHATS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE JOURNEY IN YOUR MINI?
Driving across England & France in the summer of 2015 for 1750 miles, visiting the National Mini Cooper Day at Beaulieu, Rouen, La Rochelle, Nantes, Caen and staying in Saint-Jean-de-Monts

WHAT JOURNEY WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO WITH YOUR MINI?
My dream journey would be a road trip along the French Riviera before heading north to Turin and Geneva. Alternatively, a drive across Dartmoor would keep me happy

WHATS THE MOST FUN YOU HAVE HAD IN YOUR MINI?
Well it’s certainly not trying to fit a new clutch that’s for sure. Probably the best times are the Legendary Grand Tour in North Devon, the French holiday in 2015 and the Riviera Run

WHY DID YOU BUY A MINI?
Because I wanted a practical car that I can fit loads of luggage in! This particular model features a special top-loading mechanism
