ANY OTHER INTERESTING FEATURES?

Not really.  Every time I drive it I smile and love it. That probably makes the driver the other interesting feature. He’s proper special

ANY PROBLEMS YOU’VE HAD WITH YOUR MINI?

Loads. I can now change the head gasket in two hours as one year it blew three times. It hates MOT’s, I’ve never had an easy one.  It leaks like a sieve, I’ve had to buy a dehumidifier to dry it out

ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO DO TO YOUR MINI IN THE FUTURE?

A super charger would be nice, it could always do with a little bit more power.  Re-upholster the seats.  Stop it leaking.  Loads but it means I have to do the work so nothing would probably change

ANYTHING YOU’D LIKE TO DO TO YOUR MINI IN THE FUTURE?

The Nurburgring, I’d like to say I went round it in 8 minutes but I’d be lying, it was about 14 minutes, massive fun though

WHATS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE JOURNEY IN YOUR MINI?

East to West across the United States of America and sell the car at the end of it.  If I ever get around to it I’ll make sure I take a spare head gasket kit (and lots of oil)

WHATS THE MOST FUN YOU HAVE HAD IN YOUR MINI?

It was in a mini but not mine but so what it’s a mini all the same.  Laughing at my son over the CB insulting a man with a large moustache and my son didn’t realise ‘Mr Moustache’ could hear him, I still laugh about it now

WHY DID YOU BUY A MINI?

Jealousy.  I brought my son his first car which was a mini, we spent a lot of time doing it up and when he took it away I missed it and I wanted one myself
