This show was timed carefully so as not to clash with the Heddington and Stockley show.
The weather was kind to us and our club had a good turn out with Nick (with 3 cars!!), Len, Gerald, Siobhan, Jean, Dawn and myself (of course!!).
Our members were the first to by some of the 50/50 tickets which I sell each year. When the first winner was drawn, I suspected it might be one of our club members and it was, so Nick was lucky that I was doing it! He won £50. I went round 3 or 4 times.
The raffle Mini draw took place and we had to phone the last 50/50 winner. This year's prize was a lovely 1983 Almond Green Mini Mayfair sold to the museum by one of our members. August was the 60th birthday of the launch of the mini.
Good use was made of the gazebo for chatting, eating and drinking.
