Fairly well attended on both days.
This year we were pitched under some trees which was just as well as the weather was very hot.
This is a free event held in the park behind the shopping centre, so people of the public came along to buy things from stalls, watch re enactment carried out by various living history clubs and take part in lots of other activities laid on by the Armed Forces committee. There was a spitfire fly by on both days and the red arrows on the Sunday and we won’t be seeing them for three years as they are in America.
Our cars had a lot of interest paid to them by passing people.
Postcards were handed out to some mainly children who admired the minis.
This was our third year of attending this event and we plan to do so again next year.
